• For this site every effort has been made to ensure that it is usable by those on typically very slow (mine is 24kbps) cottage/country Internet connections. You will find no fancy flash pages, large graphics, fancy buttons, or rotating icons here. This may make the site "look" plain, however providing the information to you as quickly as possible was deemed more important than making it glitzy.

• Every web site is only as good as the people supporting it. This is a "participaction" site. If you can supply any information about Canonto Lake please provide it to me or a member of the executive. We accept emails, letters, scrolls, stone tablets or whatever else you have! We will also come to you so you can tell us what you know. Let's not lose the history of the lake.
