Barry this is the photo of the boat from which I derived my coamings and hood. The front end of my boat has a shape much like the front of this one.
It doesnt change anything but the looks.

As you can see from this photo the race runabouts are much more pointed.

Mine is like the 1st photo and nowhere as extreme as this race boat. The board that holds the steering wheel was done away with. That same board became the back part of the hood. It attaches to the coamings instead of the frame. Additional picures added Jan 30, 2007 showing trim tab
